About Go Green Recycling
Go Green Recycling
story
Most of what we throw away today is made from materials that
the Earth is slowly running out of or which cannot be replaced quickly enough
because of the amount we consume. Many of the products thrown into landfills have a value and can be recycled. Recycling involves taking materials that would
normally be discarded as waste, processing them, and giving them a new life.Unfortunately, people have often been reluctant to take
their recyclables to a center because the centers been located in
out-of-the-way, unsafe locations. The parking lots have been cluttered, the
buildings and workers unsavory. Then the money paid to them has been less than
they expected.
All that has changed for many cities in Stanislaus and San
Joaquin counties. Starting from a single location in 2007, Go Green Recycling
has grown to six busy locations today. The first center, located in a former service station in
Stockton, was very quickly a successful operation ,”a overnight success,” Providing a safe, clean location with good customer service,
and paying top dollar to our customers soon established Go Green Recycling as
the top choice for people looking for a recycling center.
We are committed to providing top notch
customer services to our clients. We are
creating jobs and revenue for cities.
One of the most satisfying contributions and aspects of Go Green
Recycling is protecting the environment of the planet Earth by recycling the
things that create jobs and revenue for the citizens of this nation.”
This business philosophy has allowed us to expand to a
second location in Stockton, and to Tracy, Manteca, Lodi, and
Turlock in four years. There are active plans for further expansion.
Go Green Recycling accepts CRV aluminum cans and glass; a
variety of plastics, steel, stainless steel, scrap metals, copper, brass and
cardboard. They do not accept electronics, liquids or paper. Pricing is prominently placed on the wall along with state
guidelines. Weighing scales are checked weekly for accuracy and the customer
can watch as the materials are weighed.
All of the facilities Parking areas and buildings are kept
clean and inviting. The attendants are trained not only to be honest and courteous to the
customers, but to educate them on ways to sort their recyclables so that they
can get the most money.
Go Green Recycling workers sort and bale the materials which
are then picked up by companies where they will be recycled into new products. Attendants are careful to follow state guidelines to help
stop thefts and vandalism. They require a copy of a drivers’ license from any
customer who brings in $100 or more in C.R.V materials. A customer who brings
in more than $20 worth of scrap metals must have a valid drivers’ license,
thumbprint and, wait three days before being paid walk in customers are screened to be sure these materials
have not been stolen.
Having started as a family business, Go Green Recycling is
now a corporation. They have gone from a single employee in 2007 to having over
twenty employees today. We are proud to announce that, we have very high customer SATISFACTION RATING.
